I hold a Bachelors in Criminology, Law and Society from George Mason University and a Masters in Forensic Psychology from University of Houston- Victoria. The state of Texas recognizes me as a Licensed Professional Counselor- Intern (LPC-Intern) , Affiliate Sex Offender Treatment Provider (ASOTP) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I also have a Neuroscience Certification from The Optimind Institute where I specialized in Relationships and Entrepreneurship. I have a great drive to serve my community and see that everyone has access to the resources they need to heal. Serving others and seeing them change has been a passion of mine for a very long time. My work experience includes the US Army, working with adult offenders, and juvenile offenders. I have also worked under three clinicians where I have learned to address the needs of various populations using different treatment modalities. In 2018, I went into business full time to be a powerful force to lead difficult, necessary conversations and to help build Better Communities. I conduct consultations and speaking engagements with schools and law enforcement agencies to include facilitating leadership training.
In 2020, I will expand Your Space to Heal to include individual, family, group, drug, and sex offender counseling. In the meantime, I conduct counseling services under the supervision of Dr. Joseph McDaniel, LPC-S, LSOTP.
